Pāʻia
A shallow, reef-protected lagoon on Maui's north shore next to Baldwin Beach, the calmest swimming spot in the Paia area and a good pick for families with small children; there is no shade, so bring an umbrella or tent.
No booking needed, free entry. Parking is limited: either walk in from Baldwin Beach Park's lot or drive into the Spreckelsville neighborhood (via Nonohe Pl / Paani Pl to Kealakai Pl) to the small dirt lot at the road's end; go early, spots fill fast. No lifeguard, showers or restrooms at Baby Beach itself (Baldwin Beach Park nearby has facilities).
