North Shore
Botanical garden covering a sacred Hawaiian valley floor with 5,000+ plant species, historical sites, and a 15m swimming waterfall at the end. Unlike Manoa Falls, you can actually swim here — life jackets are mandatory and provided free. The garden walk is 1.6km each way through incredibly lush vegetation. One of the most complete nature experiences on the North Shore.
No advance reservation required. Tickets at the gate or online. $26 adults / $18 children. Open daily 9am–4pm (last entry 3:30pm). Closed Mondays.
The valley is sheltered from wind and stays green year-round. The waterfall swims best in summer when water levels are safe. Confirm swimming status on arrival.
