Kapalua
Clear-water snorkel beach inside the Honolua-Mokulē'ia Bay Marine Life Conservation District, turtles are common; calm and good for snorkeling in summer, but winter (roughly Nov-Mar) brings dangerous surf and rip currents with no posted warning signs, so steer clients elsewhere then. Stairs make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility limits.
No booking needed. Free roadside parking along Honoapi'ilani Highway (Route 30) near mile marker 32, about 1.6 miles north of the Kapalua entrance and just south of Honolua Bay; roughly 10-12 stalls, arrive early. Steep concrete stairs (~80 steps) down the cliff to the sand; no facilities on the beach.
