The town's sandy bay, with no lifeguard: dangerous shorebreak and rip currents in winter. The 1 April 1946 tsunami flooded Lower Pāʻia here.
No booking, free. Park in town and walk down to the bay; no lifeguard — check the surf before going in, especially October to April.
