Queen Kaʻahumanu visited in 1832 and asked that the permanent church bear her name. The present building, the fourth on the site, dates from the 1870s; services and hymns are still in Hawaiian.
No booking, free. Sunday worship is in person at 9 AM (also streamed on Facebook Live); outside services, view the church from High Street and the grounds respectfully.
