1.6-mile round trip through lush rainforest to a 150-foot waterfall. The valley receives 150+ inches of rain annually — truly primordial. Do NOT swim in the pool (bacterial contamination).
No reservation required. Free trail, $5 parking. Trailhead on E Manoa Rd. Closed-toe shoes required — trail is often muddy.
Trail is beautiful in light rain. Avoid during or after heavy rain (flash flood risk in the canyon).
